Hyundai Reveals The 2020 Verna, Opens Bookings in India

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. has announced the introduction of India’s First Fully Connected Mid-Size Sedan – The New Verna, accompanied by Advanced Blue Link Connectivity. Commenting on the connectivity solutions offered on the new Verna, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director – Sales, Marketing & Service, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said “Hyundai is a smart mobility leader offering the most advanced connectivity solutions while striving for sheer excellence. With the Verna, we aim to elevate customer experience and convenience by offering Advanced Blue Link Connectivity Solutions. ‘Hello, Blue Link’ – a wake-up word, makes it more convenient for customers to activate voice recognition service. Enabling customers to be more in sync with their cars via Smartwatch Integrated Blue Link app, the Verna personifies Futuristic Technology. With continuous innovation, Hyundai aims to provide customers with Intelligent Features and Power Packed Performance.”The updated Verna’s exterior has been revealed completely. Changes in the Verna facelift on the outside include reshaped LED headlights with DRLs, the addition of the sizeable, chrome-heavy ‘Cascading Grille’, and a redesigned front bumper with a brushed-aluminum insert for the lip. The new diamond cut alloys look premium on the Verna and there are revised LED tail lamps too accentuating the cosmetics. The rear bumper has been updated too with chrome highlight.The 2020 Hyundai Verna facelift will be equipped with the latest BlueLink connectivity system by which customers can now smoothly access Blue Link’s connected car services remotely such as:

  • Climate Control (Automatic Transmission)
  • Door Lock/Unlock
  • Vehicle Status Information (Engine, HVAC, Door, Tyre Pressure Information, Fuel Level Information, etc.)
  • Vehicle Alerts (Geo-Fence, Speed, Time Fence, Valet, Vehicle Status and Stolen Vehicle)
  • Receive notifications through a SmartWatch as well.

Adding on to the versatility of Blue Link, the following voice-enabled features can now be accessed by just saying ‘Hello Blue Link’.

Other features such as Find My Car, Share My Car are also available, along with Auto DTC Check, Manual DTC Check, Monthly Health Reports, Maintenance Alerts, and Tracking Driving Behaviour. Blue Link supports smartwatch application for Wear OS by Google, watchOS by Apple and TIZEN OS for Samsung’s Galaxy watches. Hyundai has started accepting bookings for the Verna facelift. The booking amount is INR 25,000.
